The Castempo workflow
One simple path through every episode.
Running a podcast involves dozens of small decisions and tasks. Castempo brings them into one guided podcast workflow so your guest information, preparation, transcript, content and history stay connected.
01
Set Up Your Podcast
Your show, audience, goals and Ideal Guest Criteria.
02
Evaluate the Guest
See how a guest fits before you reply.
03
Approve & Book
Move the guest forward with their context attached.
04
Prepare the Show
Build the Show Kit for the episode.
05
Have the Conversation
Record with your prepared material in front of you.
06
Add the Transcript
Bring the real conversation into Castempo.
07
Learn & Improve
Host Coaching reviews how you performed.
08
Publish & Promote
Titles, descriptions and social moments.
09
Build Your History
Guests, episodes and content stay connected.
Step 1
Tell Castempo what makes your podcast yours.
Start by setting up your podcast, audience, goals and Ideal Guest Criteria. This gives Castempo the context it needs to make recommendations that are relevant to your show instead of producing generic AI responses.
Set the context once. Use it throughout your workflow.
Your Podcast
What your show is about.
Your Audience
Who you're creating it for.
Your Goals
What you want the show to accomplish.
Your Ideal Guest
Who belongs in front of your audience, and who doesn't.
82 / 100
Match score
Audience value
Practical hiring lessons your listeners can apply this quarter.
Suggested episode angle
What breaks first when a team scales past its founding group.
Episode narrative arc
Early wins, the breaking point, the rebuild, what holds today.
Risks or concerns
Tends toward company anecdotes. Steer toward transferable decisions.
Evaluation summary
Direct operating experience your audience is trying to learn from, with a clear angle that hasn't been covered on the show.
Step 2
A guest pitch arrives. Castempo helps you decide if they're right for your show.
Paste the guest's bio into Castempo or review a potential guest who applied through your Castempo guest application. Castempo evaluates that person against your podcast, audience, goals, Ideal Guest Criteria and exclusions.
You see a match score, a Yes, Maybe or No recommendation, a score breakdown, audience value, a suggested episode angle, the episode narrative arc, risks or concerns, and an evaluation summary.
You make the final decision. Castempo gives you the context to make it faster and with more confidence.
Step 3
You say yes. Castempo keeps the guest moving.
When you've decided the guest belongs on your show, approve them and move them into your podcast workflow. Their evaluation, guest information, status and booking details stay connected instead of starting over in another system.
You can add your booking link in Settings and share it with approved guests, and recording dates appear on your Castempo calendar.
Castempo helps manage the podcast workflow. Calendly handles the booking experience.

Step 4
Turn the right guest into a better conversation.
Once the guest is moving forward, Castempo helps you prepare an interview around the person, your audience and the strongest direction for the episode. The Show Kit is the center of interview preparation.
Everything you need to prepare is connected to the guest and episode.
Step 5
When it's time to record, just open your Show Kit.
No searching through notes, guest bios, emails or separate AI conversations. Open the Show Kit and have the information you prepared right in front of you during the interview.
The podcast interview questions are there to support the conversation, not to turn the interview into a rigid script.
Use the questions as a guide. Listen to the guest. Follow the conversation.
Opening question
You've said the second hundred hires were harder than the first ten. Why?
Suggested follow-up
What did that moment actually look like inside the company?
Story opportunity
Take me back to the week you realized the old approach wasn't working.

Step 6
The recording ends. The next stage begins.
After the interview, paste or upload the transcript on the episode. Now Castempo can work from the actual conversation, not just the original guest bio or interview plan.
Castempo does not record or transcribe your episode. You bring the transcript from the tools you already use.
One transcript powers the next stage of your workflow.
Step 7
Find out how you performed as the host.
Most podcast tools focus entirely on the guest or the content. Castempo also looks at you. Host Coaching analyzes the transcript from the host's perspective and provides practical feedback you can use in your next conversation.
Every interview becomes an opportunity to become a better host.

Step 8
Turn the conversation into content.
Castempo uses the transcript and episode context to help prepare the content you need to publish and promote the show. You copy what you want into the platforms you already use.
The content comes from the same guest, episode and conversation you've been working with from the beginning.
Step 9
Finish the episode without losing everything you learned.
Once an episode is complete, Castempo keeps the guest, episode, transcript, generated content and history connected. Your next episode doesn't have to begin from zero.
Castempo can use your previous episode titles when generating new title ideas, which helps reduce repeated wording, hooks, structures and themes. Guest and episode history also remains available for future reference.
Your podcast has a memory. Castempo helps you use it.

Every episode strengthens the way you run your show.
Castempo isn't designed around one isolated AI task. It's designed around the recurring rhythm of running a podcast. You choose. You prepare. You have the conversation. You learn. You complete the episode. Then Castempo helps you do it again.
